You can use the Snipping Tool application to take a screenshot of only a certain part of your screen and either save it as a picture file, copy it to paste elsewhere, or email it
- To get started, click the Start button and begin typing “snipping” until you see “Snipping Tool” under the Programs category. Click on the program to open it
- Your mouse will turn into a small crosshairs
- Now simply move your mouse/crosshairs to a corner of the area of your screen you would like to screenshot, and click drag your mouse across you want to screenshot
- Now that you’ve selected your image, Snipping Tool will give you the option to save it as an image, copy it, or insert it directly into an email using the following buttons:
