Create a New App Password for Outlook 365

1. Log into your Microsoft account; portal.office.com. Click on your Initials in the top right side of the screen. Click on ‘My Account’

2. Choose ‘Security & Privacy’ on the left-hand menu. Next, click on ‘Additional Security Verification’. A drop down menu will appear.

3. Click on ‘Create and manage app passwords ’

4. Click ‘Create’

5. Give the new app password a descriptive name and click ‘next’. A new app password will load. You can now use this password for Outlook and any other Microsoft product requiring an app password

**It will produce the actual app password one time, so if you don’t copy it and close it out, you will have to create a new one all over again.**
