Gboard is Google's Android keyboard program. Sometimes it can malfunction and kick a "Gboard Not Working" error repeatedly. Try each of the following solutions in order until the issue is solved:


1. Restart the tablet

  • Hold Power > Select Restart
2. Clear Cache

  • Settings > Apps

  • Select Gboard

  • Select Storage > Clear Cache

3. Uninstall Updates
  • Settings > Apps > Gboard
  • Click the 3 vertical dots in the upper right > Uninstall updates


4. Force Stop
  • Settings > Apps > Gboard
  • Force Stop > OK
